soarin’ over peaks

snow-capped ridges – patchwork art

red octopus’ arms

*

straggled to reach high

experiments in red light

where water is cold

*

a desolate place

no human, no animal

it’s bare everywhere

*

stamped on earth like sign

few can decipher fully

so much more to come

About the Creator

Mescaline Brisset

if it doesn't come bursting out of you

in spite of everything,

don't do it.

unless it comes unasked out of your

heart and your mind and your mouth

and your gut,

don't do it.
