Highborn Damnation

A Poem

By Kadesh VegaPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Spirit in bondage, of a nightworld so vain

Forever lamenting amidst somber domain

Archangels weep choirs as if heaven in flames, hath cast them as fallen with scorn and disdain

Softly breaks silence to hearken a call

“Come to me now, on thy knees shalt thou crawl

Groveling forth as a servant in thrall

From highborn your heir, to damnation shall fall

By taste of my kiss, so sweet as red wine

Bewitched by the night, such pleasures to find

Nocturnal splendor shall soon all be thine

Beyond warmth of day shall thou remain frozen in time”

surreal poetry
