High Zeal Hazels

I was born second so

I never thought I was destined to be exceptional.

However

the tested lesson in the stressed reflection of my old wrestle with depression IS……

after the death of my older brotha I’m next up.

Next in line for everything left in YAH’s blessings.

She coulda had eyes shaded

Hues of blue, brown, green –

But hers aren’t – they are

Full of high zeal, blinding appeal.

If you look too long

They’ll remind you of HIM –

that copper-skinned gem – carpenter man –

that equipped her with – high

zeal, blinding appeal, and eyes

that melt any harden stares —

like alchemy

how golden they appear.

Making real gold look cheap

Ain’t any other as bold

As she

And the world would try

To sell her for low

but she knows her worth

yes her soul she keeps.

Grateful that HE blessed her

with this pair: high zeal

blinding appeal – plus both eyes

are hazel as well –

burning

from the furnace of herself, aye

go see for yourselves

but that’s hardly my spell

I excel in any word

compelling me to be myself
