Hi, My Name Is Sydney...

Hi my name is Sydney and i am 16 years old

And as i grow old, my story unfolds

And as i live, my emotions give

And as i cry, my happiness tends to die

And as i smile, downwards my sadness dials

Hi my name is Sydney and i am hopeful

And as i hope, my mind has to cope

And as i dream, things are not what they seem

And as i try to believe, people leave

And as i make progress, it leads to more stress

Hi my name is Sydney and i am almost an adult

And as i go to school, i still don't know what to do

And as i think of jobs, it feels like I'm being robbed

And as i think of a career, i don't pick certain paths due to fear

And as i write this poem, i just want to show 'em
