Hey Moon,

See you soon

Hey Moon,

I don't know what to say to you, Moon

You're so far away, I need a broom

To fly up past the clouds and into space

So I can settle down in your cold embrace

Why a broom? you ask

I don't have a rocket ship

Even if I did though, it's too confined

I want the frigid air to become mine

The lack of oxygen my new identity

Your grey tone, my skin, so I blend in

If I could, Moon

I would make my home in your craters

I'm not sure how I could do so

But my favorite place to wander

Would be your dark side

I don't think it's as dark as they say

From here it may look so because it doesn't sparkle like your silver shining bright

They say your sliver gives hope that you will return again

But hope is in your darkest spots

Where unknown lives, creation begins

A seed cracks in the dark

So in your darkness I shall plant myself

In your darkness I reside

I will dance on you when you are new

I will hide when you do

I want to float in your atmosphere, Moon

So I finally feel light

Free of earthly burdens

Held in your might

Imagine spinning around up there

Jumping, spinning, prancing around

Moon, I want to dance with you

All through day and night
