Can you guess where I am at peace?

From time to time

I tell my mind

Go ahead,

be free to wonder

I rest my head

Heavy like lead

On a pillow full of feathers

At first it waits, just to be sure

A momentary hesitation

Then drifts away on dreamlike waves to an alternate destination

My body rests mindlessly at peace

A tranquil breeze is coming

to beautiful, I can’t resist

So soothing and transforming

Time for a moment, has no hold

I am far and free from stresses

My heart rate and my breathing-slows

my whole body decompresses

This peace is free for you to claim

You just need to come and take it

You’ll find it off the shore or pier

have you guessed it, I’m at the lake
