This is for Ellie Hoov's Wonderland challenge and Vocal's I Didn't Say It Out Loud Challenge.

Speak your dreams aloud-and chase them.

She saw a place where time stood still,

The teacups danced, were always filled,

A better land than hers before

Goodbye to Real, this she explored

πŸ‡πŸ˜ΌπŸŽ©πŸ΅πŸƒβ°πŸ„πŸ›πŸ”‘πŸ•°οΈπŸ‡πŸ˜ΌπŸŽ©πŸ΅πŸƒβ°πŸ„πŸ›πŸ”‘πŸ•°οΈ

She danced with the spirits in the fields

Tasted joy their steps would yield

The wide-eyed cats begged, "Please return."

But she chose to watch her world's slow turn.

πŸ‡πŸ˜ΌπŸŽ©πŸ΅πŸƒβ°πŸ„πŸ›πŸ”‘πŸ•°οΈπŸ‡πŸ˜ΌπŸŽ©πŸ΅πŸƒβ°πŸ„πŸ›πŸ”‘πŸ•°οΈ

The cats' smiles faded, washed away,

They went in- refused to play

didn't chase her dream, put that on pause

Instead spoke aloud its flaws

πŸ‡πŸ˜ΌπŸŽ©πŸ΅πŸƒβ°πŸ„πŸ›πŸ”‘πŸ•°οΈπŸ‡πŸ˜ΌπŸŽ©πŸ΅πŸƒβ°πŸ„πŸ›πŸ”‘πŸ•°οΈ

But she named them Joy. For her, they pleased-

So her dreams stayed that, and brought no peace

For within her lay, a hidden key

To a soul encaged, none dared to see.
