Her Love's Story

Life and Death of a Love

By Mariha LivelyPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

Red hearts, purple marks.

Good love,

It breaks hearts.

And body, mind.

Better times she will find.

Before they dig up her dirt?

No. No more should she hurt.

Gems left behind want revenge.

No end. No easy way.

Soon they too will be taken astray.

From this atmosphere,

because their minds aren’t clear.

Pray everyday for love to be gone. No trace

Cold hearts as they plead.

Their souls now they bleed.

Emotions on fire,

Left gems hanging from wires

Was the soap too clean?

Or the grass too green?

Doesn’t matter.

I lived and died for love.

Not for me.
