"Her"

I couldn't love Her.

By Leslie FaceyPublished 8 years ago • 1 min read
I couldn't love Her.

I couldn't love her, even though I loved her.

Her; my only Her, I loved her and yet I could not...love her. My heart belonged to her, my soul and being, but what did I of her?..her heart? Her soul? Her being?. The deep, icy pain of not being with her made loving her unbearable; and still I loved her. I could only dream of her, only think of her, only long for her. My eyes have grown sore for I have cried for her, my heart aches for I have longed for her, my mind is weary for I have dreamed again and again of her.

I can no longer love her for she has gone from me, my heart, my dreams, and my soul. My lonely has consumed me, she is no longer my "Her".
