What a helpless creature
That you may kill,
That you may scorn,
That you may hate
What a helpless spirit
That relies on you,
That trusts you,
That loves you
What a helpless heartbeat
That needs your warmth,
That craves your tender devotion,
That knows only the sound of your heart thumping along with theirs
What a helpless life
That has no voice,
That has no free will,
That has only you and nothing more
What a helpless body
That you may break,
That you may crush,
That you don’t care is fragile
What a helpless child
That you may kill
Simply because of your selfishness
