Help Me Lord Jesus

Lord, the road is rough and steep,

the weight I carry makes me weak.

My heart is heavy, so is my back,

each step forward feels like I’ll crack.

The wind is cold, the path is long,

I try to stand, but I’m not strong.

Help me, Lord, to climb this mountain,

to trust Your love, my endless fountain.

When I stumble, lift me high,

wipe the teardrops from my eyes.

I can’t do this on my own,

but with You, I know that I’m not alone.
