Heaven

A Poem

By Medusa PoemsPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

If you need ever find me

In his eyes you must search, deeply

For it's there I reside

Swimming in pools of turquoise, inside

Embedded deep in his veins

The cause of all his pains

He granted me eternal youth

His aquamarine tears tell the truth

He reaches out to me

Forgive me my love, his plea

His hands may never rest upon my iridescent skin again

I'll love you always, I begin

A frightful look embraces his face

As he remembers that place

The flames blooming

My scream in his mind still looming

The cherry red blood dominated his hypnotizing eyes

A kiss distracted from the lines

A kiss I'd gladly die for once more

The smell of burning metal slowly receded as the rain started to pour

Eternally youthful I shall stay

I'll wait for you, forever, I say

My heaven is with you

I hardly know a thing about poetry, except for the simple fact that it allows me to harness my anger and depression into something I can be proud of. Hopefully someone else enjoys it too.
