Heartbeat of the Old Town

The peaceful, ancient beauty of the old town, where time seems to stand still.

In the heart of the ancient town,

Where time has come to a standstill,

Tiled roofs covered in mossy brown,

Windows basking in sunlight's thrill.

Street vendors' cries echo clear,

The aroma of pho fills the air,

Life's pace slow yet sincere,

Old town's laughter everywhere.

Silent footsteps tread with grace,

Leaving marks on green-stone paths,

People pass, no haste, no race,

Life flows by in steady breaths.

Old café at the corner waits,

A strong coffee in its embrace,

Elders tell tales of old dates,

Eyes gazing into distant space.

Red lanterns gleam in the night,

Illuminating every lane,

Old town aglow, soft and bright,

Its charm and magic remain.

Here, the heartbeat resonates,

The heartbeat of hearts so true,

Old town’s spirit still vibrates,

With a love ever anew.
