Heart-felt exhaustion

I am done with your hurt, so I will give it back.

Exhausted, numb and disoriented, I watch as your eyes turn black.

We are dead, and it's all because of you.

The minute I stopped trying, voiceless lips begun to turn blue.

You couldn't say no, now it is too late to come back.

You couldn't say no, now it is too late to back track.

Decomposing together, the way it's meant to be;

The simple truth is, a heart-attack knows no mercy.

About the Creator

Jollyoddbod Poetry

Here I am, and here I'll stay;

Like the moon in the darkness that refuses to fade.

Clouds will cover, but cannot take from my reign;

Mark this as the moment that they realise, as they scoff with distain.

They fell asleep, I cannot be blamed.
