Hear my Plea and Teleport me
Beam me up and take me away.
By Dean TraylorPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read
I.
Beam me up, Scotty!
for this place is spotty.
Nobody here dreams
to be somebody.
II.
I want to boldly go
where no man has gone befo’e.
Discover new worlds,
and places to know.
III.
I want to seek a new life
not burdened with strife.
And please, don’t give me mundane;
I’ll cut it open with a knife.
IV.
So, hear my plea
and teleport me.
I can’t wait,
for there’s so much I want to see.
