Heal

From the window of my room, I watch,

Kids playing, laughter like a gentle stream,

Their carefree hearts, a sight to touch,

I yearn to join them, in my wildest dream.

But the nurse's call interrupts my view,

A glimmer of hope, I hold onto tight,

May healing come swiftly, so I can pursue

The joys of play, in radiant sunlight.
