Head Space

A Strange Place to Be

Head space burning like a pitchfork

Rioting through the clashing windows

Large, gray billowing smoke -

Rotting hay with the flames and hot-hooved horses

Racing, bent, contorted flesh in the chaos

Head space like the 90’s version of a 60’s B-movie

Paper cutouts on the brick wall -

An antique, golden encased frame

Around an old, black devil paintings.

Head space – a strange place to be -

Where a mirror is reflecting on reflections

Till the green mire sits in pushed-up nose

On the fish-eye camera lens -

Without eyelashes, glittery eyeshadows,

Thin lips – a parade of every wrinkles -

Thin plucked eyebrows – a severe,

Romanesque, - almost uh,

The blurry featureless Venus

Choked in a heavy, jols of fake pearls.
