He Will
Guessing who "he" is will tell you how you're feeling at this moment in time.
So, what now?
She asks herself.
She moves her hair with a simple blow.
She reaches for her friend she hid on the top shelf.
He’ll help.
He’ll take the pain away.
He’ll understand how she felt.
He’ll help even if she has nothing to say.
He WILL be there.
He’s dangerous.
He shouldn’t be trusted.
He is always there, should an issue arise.
He’s reliable.
Unlike the people she knew.
They were the ones she held liable.
If the heart could it would sue.
However, hers is in no condition to properly function.
Well now it’s over, now she’s alone… Well she always has been.
A lack of trust is her biggest malfunction.
But can you blame her? You haven’t seen what she’s seen.
You don’t want to, but you still will judge.
They all do, they never fail.
And that judgement will never budge.
She wishes she could bail.
What did she do to deserve him?
He was everything to her.
Yet he never said anything, but what he did was grim.
To her it will all be a blur.
But he makes her feel good.
He takes away the pain.
He’s the reason for the change in her mood.
When people take things away, his love is what she will gain.
When she needs him, he’ll greet her with a kiss.
His touch is what she longs for.
When they are apart, it’s him she’ll miss.
Even if he leaves her sore.
He knows she will be back for more.
Because he cares he will always leave open the door
And he will cry with her on the floor.
He replaces her tears with his own.
He doesn’t like hurting her, but it’s what she wants.
When she first saw him, he should have known
He doesn’t talk, he never has. It’s all her making up the chats.
It’s his presence she loves.
He’s made to do wrong to make her feel right.
People tell her not to go to him, as if they’re angelic doves.
But they don’t know that he makes her feel light.
All her problems leave
And for a moment she forgets it all and she’ll smile
And for a moment she feels like she can breathe
And she’ll lie there for a while
Relieved, because of him.
She knew he would make her better.
He always lights up the room when things are dim.
What she wanted to do, he would let her.
