I want to haunt his dreams, never let him wake.

He made a monster—now he fears it

showing him how betrayal scars a trusting heart.

My name is the wound that never heals.

He made a monster—now he fears it

letting every night replay the moment that I broke.

My name is the wound that never heals—

a taste of blood he will never spit out!

Letting every night replay the moment that I broke,

showing him how betrayal scars a trusting heart,

a taste of blood he will never spit out–

I want to haunt his dreams, never let him wake.

Showing him how betrayal scars a trusting heart,

my name is the wound that never heals.

I want to haunt his dreams, never let him wake.

He made a monster—now he fears it.

This is my first attempt at a pantoum. The theme came to me while listening to Olivia Rodrigo's song Get Him Back--"specifically the line I wanna kiss his face with an uppercut."

About the Creator

Tina D. Lopez

Finally realizing I need to start acting like the main character in my own life. Writing helps me figure out where I keep losing the plot and giving away my spotlight. My story is a big mix of drama, comedy, tragedy, thriller, and, horror.
