He Doesn't Know

verse 1

By Forest GreenPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

Got back from out of town, still got the mud on the shoes

Talkin' that big talk but he don't pay no dues

We in the shadows, they can't see the moves

He see the finish line but he don't know the rules

I got the team tight, every step calculated

He still guessin', still waitin', still frustrated

We up at 3AM, he sleepin' on the play

We turn the nothing into something every day

He think it's luck but we built it from the grit

He see the shine, don't know the scars that we hid

We in the field, he still sittin' on the bench

We make the plays, he just watchin' from the fence
