Your words corrode

Rough, the feel of your touch

They see you, they run

Bitter, the after taste of your presence

Your scent they wish to forget

Have you ever come home sober?

Have you ever tried to love them?

Ever tried to be a father your children can look up to?

Have you ever tried to be a father your children can love?
