Haunting Adventures

There's never a dull moment

In an abandoned ghost town,

Where once an asylum defiled,

Child me is stranded all alone,

In a land now overrun and wild.

The patients have long since gone,

Somehow dinosaurs now reign,

Roaming the streets with teeth and claws,

Seeking their next edible prey.

Child me must hide to stay alive,

In this land of ancient beasts,

Creeping through the shadows,

Trying to find some peace.

The walls of the asylum,

Now crumbling and decayed,

Provide some cover for protection,

But the dangers still remain.

With quick and clever moves,

Child me lives amongst the ghosts,

Dodging fangs and slathering jaws,

In this haunted town of roving hosts.

But even in this scary place,

Young me does not despair,

For surely some adventure will come,

Life's excitement beyond compare.
