you hate that you want me
it haunts you inside
i feel it in your touch
i see it in your eyes
you don’t wanna be with me
you wanna leave tonight
the love says different
it pulls you in tight
you make it easy for me
i make it challenging for you
you’re easy to please
im a Rubik’s cube
you don’t want to be alone
so you became our therapist
you work through our problems
not the least bit hesitant
i just sit and watch you fix them
putting in minimal effort
and you work with that, just to keep us together.
