HARVESTING HOPE
The Roots of Our Abundance
Farmers, the backbone of our land,
The ones who till the soil, and sow the seed in hand.
Their calloused hands, a testament to their toil,
As they work the fields, from sun up to soil.
They rise before dawn, and toil 'til dusk,
Bringing food to our tables, is their noble trust.
They weather the storms, and face the scorching heat,
To harvest the crops, that we all eat.
Their love for the land, runs deep in their soul,
A connection to nature, that they have known.
They work with the seasons, and with nature's flow,
Bringing forth life, and growth and aglow.
So let's give thanks, to these humble folks,
Who feed our nation, with their hardworking yokes.
For the food on our plates, and the beauty we see,
Is all thanks to them, the farmers of our country.
