Shocked by your swift departure
Bleak extinguished flames.
Drowned in agony
A never ending nightmare
Drenched in black and white.
Lonely breeze echoes
Suffocating on torment
Whispers from the past.
Sustained by the earth
Your body returns to soil
To live once again.

On Winning and Losing
