Something in life that is rare for me.
People suggest that I should always be.
Every day is full of struggle and strife.
Has definitely made for a challenging life.
Possible with smoke and a bit of drink.
The purpose to alter how I think.
However fake and damaging.
It at least dumbs me to the feeling.
The next morning it begins again.
Jim Carey says, 'It changes with the wind.'
Song says it involves a warm gun.
But by no means will this happen.
Lonely nights that turn into days.
I just have to tell myself, 'It will be ok.'
