βIn the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.β Genesisβ¬ β1β¬:β1β¬-β2β¬ βNKJVβ¬β¬

In the beginning
You created
from the void
beauty and balance
form and function
simple and intricate
You didn't just create me
You composed me
like a symphony
harmony on my heart
strings quiver my soul
a song when tears ripple
in rhythm
to my heartbeat
You painted me
like the sky
softly glowing like
morning light
boldly blazing like
fiery sunset
a palette of emotions
You gifted me
with sight
to see beyond
You armed me
for battle
unseen
not of this world
You layered me
with imperfections
and traits made
just for me
to make me
me.

βYour eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.β Psalmsβ¬ β139β¬:β16β¬ βNKJVβ¬β¬
