My eyes opened slowly into an unknown dark place, not much room to move locked inside some sort of case.       I can see a faint light through a hole towards me feet, words can't escape I can't scream I can't speak.      I feel my toes wiggle but nothing else can be felt, sweat dribbles slowly as my heart starts to melt.         panic has me stricken I think I'm gonna be sick, racing thoughts fight or flight I gotta think and think quick.      Earlier this morning I know I went to the doctor, right before I heard gunshots and a faint helicopter.       My memories are scattered I can't remember walking in, I try to remember but don't know where I've been.       Suffocating losing oxygen I gotta get out, impossible to do being I can't move or shout.        My eyes can blink and my thoughts are alive, I close my eyes and pray help will arrive.      Oh NO!!!! now the light that was faint disappeared, complete darkness of shadows held within has me feared.      This cannot be happening God forgive me please do, just save me and I promise I'll live a life all for you.      Tears start to fester and begin to come down, the darkness engulfs me not making a sound.      My eyesight starts fading blood rushes to my head, this must be my time my last thoughts are......I'm dead!!!!!!      I awaken again I must have passed out, a slight burn in my fingers what is this all about.      "Oh my goodness", my fingers I'm alive and they move, guided by touch I can feel a slight groove.      I follow it down but can't get to my feet, so I feel towards the top and I can hear a slight creak.      It's too small to move so I push at my head, expecting to open it rolls out instead.      Once I stop rolling I open the top, oxygen fills my lungs and my anxiety drops.      The cool breeze feels chilly as goosebumps arise, I can see a small window what a pleasant surprise.      A full moon some distance is glowing bright in the night, my eyes start adjusting as my fists are clenched tight.      I start to gain feeling blood pumps through my veins, and my hearing adjusts to the thunderous rain.      I pull myself up giving my eyes some adjusting, a sheet has me covered underneath I'm disgusting.      My shirt I was wearing this morning was white, a buttoned down blouse perfectly fitting me right.       Now it is ripped and blood stained instead, with three gunshot wounds i was shot pronounced dead.      I see many tables just alike with a tag, on the toe of dead bodies so incredibly sad.      I pull myself out staggering to keep myself straight, amazed I'm alive blessed with such a rare fate.      My prayers they were answered as I walk towards the door, I turn the knob clockwise as my mind starts to soar.      Preparing to run I stop dead in my place, glowing eyes staring back at me dead in the face.      Close to me in a small tree a barn owl sits near, the barn looks depleted everything's disappeared.      No morgue back behind me or the door I walked through, insanity with questions what am I gonna do.      So I approach the small owl majestic eyes brightly shining, hypnotized by the moon and its powerful lining.      The thunder strikes hard and the rain carries on, I blink only once now the creature is gone.      The barn still remains and my fear has me sick, I start running at full force and start to panic.      A broken down door has me galloping  through, as a fires flames glimmer I trip over my shoe.      I catch myself hard as my wrists feel the pain,  but I gotta keep moving; so hard to maintain!!!      I see a fires soft embers quietly dance, relaxing my spirit mind caught in a trance.      The flames light some inches but beyond all Is hidden, nowhere to escape the darkness has it forbidden.       A key dangle's lifeless through much dust by a door, and a sign I start reading explaining what life is for.      It says if you enter the old you lies dead, don't turn back now just keep looking ahead.      So I wipe off the dust putting it into the lock, time suddenly froze and everything stopped.      No fire burning or rain pouring down, only a bright light with a melody sound.      A voice felt within speaking words through my heart, saying now your alive  and we got much to start.
