Half

and half

A glass half empty is a glass half full,

A day half gone - a prelude to an evening,

How often point of view affects the meaning

Replacing honest push with sneaky pull.

A life half lived becomes a life half dead,

A love half loved could be a hate half hated,

Of all the things that come to those who waited

One half is good, the other half is bad.

A tear half cried is just a tear half dried,

A smile half smiled inspires the Mona Lisa

Is half a heart beat all it take to miss a

Half-hidden door that tried to open wide?

Of all the things that often break in half,

A laugh half laughed, alas, is still a laugh.
