Hair drawn forth

Electrostatic ecstatic

Hair drawn forth

Stretching scalp

Erupting abruptly

By inverse craters

Peaks of follicle frolics

Agitated and elated by

Invisible natural force

Like a windless wind blowing

Its course from skin's surface

Out into the infinity of space

Two orbits measure pace

Drawing ever nearer

Still nearer

Gravity breaching distance

Resistance defiance

Reliance on the expected

Excepted at this moment

Of weightless suspension

Childhood anticipation

Magical elation as

Root and branch of fibrous filament

Dance to delight

Erect in solid posture

Outstretched toward

Gossamer skin

Of energised

Enraptured

Captured and captivated

Heavenly body that is

This child's plaything

Orb of delight

Yet what could be more inspirational

Demonstrating phenomenon electron

Than a balloon poised

Caressed until possessed

Of electrostatic potential
