Hail The Garbage Can Queen

Poppy's Prompts #3 March

A half-finished vanilla yogurt, now sprouting verdant green

Tumbles in the wind, to stump and bump against

A rusting regal compass, imperially garbed, in flowing spiderweb silk

Drops of green goopy mould – emeralds in its train

I almost shivered reading this😂 You definitely encompassed the essence of mould with this one. I really like how you wrote it though, the language was so descriptive!

  • Oooo, this was gross but it was beautiful, lol. Loved your poem!
