Can’t breathe the air of freedom

Yet we watch them choke.

Sometimes I wonder

What Buddha would say right now

This moment, right here.

Wrapped us tightly with his wings

Then we sang his name.

I’ve been having dreams.

Swimming in the deepest seas

The sharks summoned me.

Pears and bananas

What a strange combo, those two.

Where is the cherry?
