Scared is what I am when I am in the grey
Is it grey or is it gray?
Grey is the color of the in between
Grey is the bleak feeling of the repetition in life
Grey is uncertainty
In between happy and sad and nothing
In between the everyday chaos and the quiet of the night
In between the adjustments to new realities
Scared is what I feel when I am in the grey
Scared of me in the in between
Scared of the grey because I am
Scared of myself
Scared of feeling nothing
Scared of not believing that grey is okay
Grey is my mind everyday
I just want grey to make way
Make way for colors that faded away
Grey, will you let them come back and stay?
