Grey and Green

Grey gives way to green,emotions feel seen,

Support and ideas are shared with friends, as isolation comes to an end,

Animals come out of their hide holes, now it is safe to behold,

Photos relied on sit on my phone, because now I can lie in the grass and be prone,

Feel it's texture and smell its fragrance, Say a prayer of Thankfulness for the grace it represents,

Celebrate the browns, greens and blues, Host to microbes, flowers and jewels,

Celebrate friends, family, art and science, Honor the fallen in solemn silence,

Work toward a clean earth and social justice, Make it a priority, as the earth only has, just us.
