Green is Me

Green is the color of the grass outside
It's spring time weather for a nice bike ride
Green is the trees and leaves that grow
Warmer weather and no more snow
Green is the vegetables I eat each day
Spinach, Lettuce, and Peas in May
Cucumbers, String Beans, and some Kale
I don't like Broccoli or Pale Ale
Green is calming, being warm and helpful
My favorite color and very delightful
It is a new beginning and very exciting
A journey at times that can be frightening
Green is the color of a four-leaf clover
My Irish blood that keeps me sober
A color on the rainbow in the sky
A pot of gold at the end so high
Green is the color of the frogs
who hop along the lily pads
Alligators and Crocodiles are also Green
Such as the money that I have seen
Green is the color that makes me unique
It helps me grow and become complete
Green is the color of my personality you see
Green is my color, Green is me.
