Fresh veins aflow,

Pumping chlorophyll as blood,

A creature of the green,

An parable, misunderstood.

Leaves for skin and branches for bones,

Sunlight its breath,

In the forest it belongs,

A being of unparalleled depth.

It walks among the trees,

A silent and mysterious force,

With eyes that seem to see,

Beyond the bounds of this discourse.

Green blood, a symbol of life,

A reminder of the earth,

A creature both unique and rife,

With secrets of boundless worth.

So let us not judge too quickly,

This being of lush blood,

For in its veins runs the very essence,

Of the earth, alive and flood.
