Gravitation pulls
Home is in your light, it will never truly fade
Frozen in a dark place,
Light is traveling upward in space,
And captured in a supernova—
Your core collapsed in a deep pit,
A train wreck of gravitational waves
That only succeeded to flail into oblivion.
Your eternal light cannot falter
Into the deep mystery of
The moon’s glow,
And I forever hold it in my hand.
The lights on low,
The reflection of your vivid, soft glow,
It’s not like any other shadow of color,
You, Vision of loveliness,
Oh, darling, you mystify my senses—
Put them on overdrive,
And run away like color spilling from nature
In fall,
You are out of reach,
Yet I am yours.
Lights on low,
No tangible evidence of our love,
Except in our perfect, floating cloud,
In the stars,
Dreamily waking up to your brightness.
