Gratitude in life

What a treasure to behold it

Life without gratitude, a barren land,

Where joy and contentment fail to stand.

For gratitude, a beacon of light,

Illuminates the darkest of nights.

Without gratitude, the heart grows cold,

The beauty of life remains untold.

No appreciation for blessings received,

No recognition of what we've achieved.

In the absence of gratitude's embrace,

We lose sight of life's abundant grace.

The simple pleasures, the love we share,

All taken for granted, unaware.

Gratitude, a humble and gentle guide,

Opens our eyes, helps us to abide,

In the present moment, with hearts aglow,

Finding gratitude in both high and low.

For life without gratitude is a hollow shell,

A constant longing, an empty well.

But with gratitude, our spirits soar,

We find peace and fulfillment at our core.

So let us cultivate gratitude each day,

In every word we speak, in every way.

For life's true richness lies in our gratitude,

A precious gift, a joyful attitude.
