GRANNY’S BIG BLOOMERS
Dangerous when she hangs out side

GRANNY’S BIG BLOOMERS
Granny has big bloomers,
She hangs them on the line,
All the kids at school tease,
And ask me, “Are they mine?”
They flap above the garden,
Like sails upon a ship,
One gust of wind caught Granny,
And nearly made her flip.
The postman saw them waving,
And ducked behind the gate,
He thought one was a parachute,
That landed there too late.
The neighbour called the council,
And said, “You’d better come,
There’s something in her garden,
That’s blocking out the sun!”
Granny stood there laughing,
And shouted, “What a fuss!”
Then one flew off the washing line,
And landed on a bus.
The driver couldn’t see then,
The passengers all screamed,
A pair of Granny’s bloomers,
Was not the trip they’d dreamed.
Next morning in assembly,
The head looked rather grim,
For Granny’s other bloomer,
Was hanging off the gym.
I love my crazy Granny,
Her bloomers are divine,
But please, Gran, dry them indoors
The whole school thinks they’re mine
