Grandmother Moon...

Smiling Down On Me!

By J.W. BairdPublished 11 months ago • 1 min read

Grandmother moon I thank you for shining down on me each and every night

I know you're smiling down on me your light it so bright coming from those pearly whites

Your glow it's so soft just as your gentle touch

As I sit with you I feel a calmness come over me as you light up my path I can't ask for much

You whisper your wisdom and knowledge to me through the changing of the seasons

You've guided our ancestors for centuries teaching us your sacred ways

The seeds you've planted inside of our souls will last for thousands of years not just days

Your sweet essence connects me to the stars and all of creation above

I give thanks to the Creator for your continued and unconditional love

Who Am I?

I keep asking myself. I spent half of my life as a single mother. Pushing myself to be the strong independent individual that I have always been. My kids have grown and my life seems turned upside down.

I now search to find myself!
