Hiking strains my lungs

Torture me with cardio

All for canyon views

////

Rapids roar below

Desperate tongues seek water

To quench misery

////

Muscles made of fire

Blaze beneath a desert sun

Are we almost there?

////

Open cavity

Where river defeated rock

No picture compares

About the Creator

Danielle Kelley

I'm making this all up as I go. I appreciate any feedback you lovely people can give me, and if you'd like to drop a few coins in my hat it would honestly mean the world to me.
