Gotta Go
An old poem that I wrote a few years back. Hope you dig!
Very hard to put it
However can’t amuse myself
With you no more
-
My people noticed
A very strange person
Now they are talking
-
Jagged smiles
Crashing my way
-
You led me into places
Dark and fun dwellings
It was the side of dark town
-
Sometimes I see you walking
Talking from the puddles
Mocking me dirty
-
In the mirror with
That electric smile
-
You shocked and enticed me
Made my life
Prosthesis ecstatic
-
I crossed the line
My time disseminating
With my naked soul
-
My spirit took the ride
Into the dark slide
-
Leave me alone
I gotta go
Leave you in my mind
It’s time for me to be kind
