mourning for new moments for so long,
just trying to belong.
vast new place,
so full of grace.
pearly gates swung wide open.
welcome all who are broken.
hallow feeling in our room.
gone way too soon.
our room that once was,
now there isn't even the slightest buzz.
my picture is above the mantle on our wall.
my heart rate continues to fall.
until it eventually came to a complete stop.
the casket beginning to drop,
into the ground…
there was not even the slightest of sounds.
dust populates the once full room.
gone too soon.
bereavement....
the masses just could not believe it.
crying out for help and asking why...
they never got to say goodbye.
then they received a note from the other side,
that filled their broken hearts with love and pride.
thank you for being who you are,
you will always be my guiding star.
until we meet again on the other side,
thank you for making me feel so alive.
goodbye, my friends.
this is not the end.
