Goodbye

Honorable Mention in Instructions for Disappearing Challenge

Curl your toes…

under, under, under

squeezing hard like the

desperate last drops

of tooth p-a-

s-t-

e.

Now bend your legs.

Shins to thighs melt

together like

two ice

cubes:

Your knees follow suit.

Hips!

They need motion to go-go-go

hula hoop swirl turn tornado

s-s-sucking your bottom

remnants

into the

sky

!

Inhale.

Your stomach, your lungs

become pregnant with oxygen

Bigger and bigger and bigger!

B-I-G-G-E-R

M-O-R-E

.

.

.

¡ POP !

Your scapula spin-spin-spinning

like a lone helicopter seed

around and around and around!

Ballerina, you become-

graceful lines will

echo-

echo-echo-echo

echoechoechoechoecho

behind you.

Your neck turns to

Twizzlers rope, stretched

only until a

single strand of

sugar

is left.

Head rolls like bowling ball

.

.

.

.

.

STRIKE!
