In the hospital waiting waiting
Tubes hooked up all over you
Not knowing if you will live or die
Waiting waiting scared, that I won’t get to say goodbye
Scared that you will never come home
Worried that when I am asleep that you will leave me
Scared that you will leave me alone
At home, hearing a phone knowing that I am too late to say goodbye
