A moment of pause

quiet reflection,

the act of

stopping.

-

Looking up

from the hustle,

and bustle

smelling the roses.

-

Was the sky always

so blue,

radiant beams

piercing through.

-

The skylarks' song

serendipitous sound,

laughter, chatter

melodious cacophony.

-

How long have I

been frozen in contemplation,

that the sky has burst aflame.

-

Has there ever been

a sunset so powerful,

the sky alight

with wonder.

-

No traffic lights red

the bus is on time,

a seat on the train

oh look,

no rain.

-

Upon reflection

now going slow,

taking a moment

to look up and around,

-

I must be in a good place now.
