"Good Enough"
living in diversified oppression
We step off of the pedestals propaganda placed under us
when the media signals the next group needs attention
we clean up our message, we knew it was just a month
we're all a buncha causes for big business to mention
We head back home from the protest or parade
it turns out these old towns didn't even notice
that we'd been gone, or the progress we'd made
in diversified oppression it's impossible to focus
See, in this day in age, there is but one solution
when a new group becomes the topic of conversation
don't turn to go home: stay, make a contribution
we cannot continue fighting for one type liberation
I guess when it comes down to the ol' push and shove
the opposite of progression is our saying "good enough".
