Gone Everyday

verse 2

By Forest GreenPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

Lights on the dash like a permanent rave

I’m ridin’ on E but I still won’t behave

Sirens in rearview, I dance with the wave

One hand on the wheel, other hand on the grave

They say slow down, but the engine don’t listen

I’m married to hustle, the vows gettin’ written

In red ink and rubber, in smoke that I’m spittin’

In late-night confessions that no one is gettin’

Time is a liar, it promise tomorrow

But every new second just borrow from sorrow

I’m chasin’ the sun while the moon steal the light

Gone every day, so I fade out the night

Clock hit the six, I reload and repeat

Heart skip a beat but my hustle stay sweet

I’m gone like the wind with no name on the breeze

Just echoes of tires and unfinished dreams
