Goldfish

He recognizes you when you wake up; it follows you, happily waving from one corner to the next, waiting for your morning “hello” and greeting at breakfast; later, it checks the filter to make sure everything is working, letting you know if something needs fixing;

Sometimes it helps during tough times, offering the wisest fish advice or a calming eye, especially when you need to cry out; it carries more compassion and love than most humans around

It loves to meditate and enter such a deep state. Still, the most interesting thing is that it recognizes you just as much as a dog or a cat would—it connects with you in its own unique way.

The most amazing thing is that it’s an everyday interior designer of its own space, transforming every place it finds itself in with such joy and playfulness, yet also like Sisyphus doing his work with each stone.

When something isn’t quite right, it taps the corner and says, “Hey, this could work much better—please help and change it,” so I come over, check it out, and fix it—sometimes it goes quickly, sometimes it takes longer, but we always find solutions for every issue and every problem, and when everything flows naturally and effortlessly, what a relief—we’re so happy that we can continue to enjoy this good, free-flowing energy in its entirety
