Solid Sort of Sunlight

Streaming into the sights of sore eyes

You welcome in the day of extraordinary solace

The season has brought you down, your hope is shining in the room

A beam of glory has found an eye, expressing yourself more and more

Healing is right around the next door, neighbors from all around looking for you

Keeping an eye out for sunburns or imperfects so they feel better about living

Gossip and laughter they find it better to be quitting, saying words of empty hollow trees

They welcome in the winter freeze, to only realize you've stayed golden

A golden gaze for them to be mislead, from all their hurting and dread

Envy of greatness brings them closer to a sad sort of sunlight, that they look upon only to give them a fright
